The Golden Prairies

The Golden Prairies is where the pack goes to hunt, well one of the few places for big game hunting. Depending on the season, you can find many types of prey from deer to buffalos to even wild boar. The sky is uncovered by any trees and every so often, you can see eagles and hawks circling far above. Hunters of the pack are allowed to be hear, or indeed any full-grown wolves. However, because there is near to no cover in the area, pups shouldn't be here alone. Also, this is sometimes a dangerous part as this is at the edge of the territory and stranger wolves sometimes try to claim the area.

Aura laughed as the wolf she was fighting turned tail and ran back to the others. She listened to Rezsia and Casimear growling softly still.

Casimear clawed at Rez,
"Stop you fools, do you want her to kill me? Your leader?" the other wolf near by chuckled,
"Why not, a wolf who can be pined down like that by a femail decierves what he get."

The two wolves paused but razzu wasn't finished.He wanted this wolf to know that razzu never played.He snapped his jaws around a wolfs neck and tasted blood.the wolf whined before his body had gone limp and he lunged for the other wolf,pinning him down snarling."Get out,casimear."

"Do it Rez, for your pups. If you don't now, they could return." Brookelle muttered into Rez's ear as she waited

Casimear pushed up and Rez let him. Slowly, he limped to what remained of his group.
"This is not the end." he snarled as he and his group vanished into the distance. Rez suddenly felt tired and collapse to the ground.

Aura watched from her spot making sure that if any of the small group tried something she would attack them. Aura looked over to Razzu and Brooke making sure they were okay wincing slightly when Razzu killed one of the wolves.

Seeing Rezsia collapse, she immediatly went to life saver mode. She looked at her closely, examining every teeny scratch she received from the males.

Rez felt dizzy and she looked up and Brook.
"Are you ok?"

Razzu panted hard but glared as he watched the pack leave after lossening his fngs from the wolf he'd killed.He licked blood from his lips and sat on his haunches.His gaze flicked to Aura who was staring at him and he nodded to her giving her the message that he had no problem killing strangers like this wolf at his feet.He then gazed at rez and he kept his expression as he spoke."I suspect they will come back but I will take no time in killing each and every one of them to protect you.Are you alright?"His voice never changed with the question either.He was always like this after a battle.

Aura saw Rezsia collapse and walked over to her peering at her with worried eyes "Rezsia whats wrong?"

Aura whimpered she could tell the pain in Rezsia's eyes ad was worried. She started to look over her when she noticed the cut on Rezsia's belly. She looked at Rezsia "Rezsia this is not okay we need to do somethingabout this wound now".

"She shouldn't have fought, she may have damaged the pups.." Brook said, almost to herself

'No, Casimear just have it in for me." she said her voice tight. "The pups are fine, I can feel it."

Razzu growled and stood.He wasn't sure where they had gone but he would go after them another time.For now he went to Rez and licked her muzzle a few times

Rez looked up at her twin.
"Don't worry, they wont be coming back anytime soon." she lifted her gaze to the place where the golden prairies met met the stunning blue of the sky. In the distance, came the cry of a red tailed hawk. Rez looked back at her twin, "We are twins, we have a bond, open your mind to me, you can feel I'm alright." she She nodded to Aura and Brook, "Will you see if they are alright?" she knew her twin was fine, she could feel it through her bond.

Rezsia was right.Razzu was himself and their bond was great.He sighed and went to Aura and Brook."Are you two all right?"He asked in a soothing tone.

She lay on the ground, pondering how and why Casimear would take the trouble to track her and her twin so far. Why, she knew, to get revenge, but how, she hadn't a clue.

Aura looked over to Razzu and nodded her face still showing her sadness and anger. She sighed and sat down starting to lick at the small cuts she has. She tried to clean off the blood that was on her eye from the cut above it, but could not seem to get it so she just left it leaving the eye closed.

Razzu noticed Aura's eye and walked up to her.He began to lick at it slowly and carefully making sure not to cause her too much pain.

Aura only jumped slightly when Razzu walkd over and started licking the wound out of surprise that he would do so. She quickly relaxed and sat still only wincing once from the pain. She smiled at Razzu and chuckled a little "Thank you".

Razzu stepped back a step when he had finished and nodded."You welcome.You fought well.I'm sure you will do splendidly in training.Rest now."Razzu sat on his haunches.His shoulder had been slashed and he flattened his ears turning his head to clean the wound.It wasn't deep and neither was it a large cut.It only annoyed him that it stung so much.

Aura nodded to Razzu and yawned softly "Okay". She moved a little closer to him and laid down resting her head on her paws. She yawned again, but kept her eyes open still to riled up from the fight to take a nap.
